Lately I've been obsessed with foil transfers (thanks to the amazing Chelsea King).

I purchased my foil and circular studs from www.dollarnailart.com

To transfer the foil you need special nail foil transfer glue. I got the foil and glue at the same site and that's also the site where I get all my square and round studs from. The only con is that you have to spend a minimum of $25.

This is what the foil and glue look like:

The foil comes in those little tubes and you just cut some to fit your nail. I still haven't tried to put the foil on my entire nail because I love the way it looks with the base color showing.

If you want to achieve this look here's a YouTube tutorial:

Have a beautiful day!

  1. Such a lovely manicure! I had another go at my nail foil and seem to get better at it. I find that the holographic effect of the honeycomb and arctic tides foils are really dulled by top coat, and without it the foil is still sticky and can rub off. I may keep playing around with it and see what happens or get a shiny silver one like this which does not disappoint!

    1. Thank you so much! And aw yeah I'm having the same problem :( I found the foil crinkles up more with a fast drying top coat try using one that doesn't dry too quick it turns out a little better :)

  2. They look amazing! One question, what colour Essie is that?
