Here are three GG Couture Nail Lacquers, each unique and beautiful in its own way. Two of them remind me of summer and with the weather we're having in Southern California (There was a high of 89 degrees today, IN JANUARY. I HATE it.) they were perfect.

GG Couture Nail Lacquer has the cuuutest packaging ever. It comes with a rhinestone on top and a bow. AND they're scented.
This first one is "Snowflake" and is scented with Red Apple. It's a semi-textured polish that comes off with a satin finish and I added a top coat to mine. This is four thin coats on its own. It's so elegant and pretty. I added a huge rhinestone from Born Pretty Store (Item ID 9740 #763).
This second looks is "Speckled Lily" and it's a glitter top coat. I love how packed with glitter it is. It has black splatters, black circles, and hot pink and neon green/yellow hexagons. Lovve this. I added it over OPI's "Alpine Snow" and Orly's "Glowstick" and "Beach Cruiser."
The third look is "California Girls" a pretty milky white polish packed with tiny black glitter and black glitter circles, and hexagon hot pink and neon green glitter. This one is my favorite out of all three. This was three thin coats on it's own topped with Seche Vite.
This fourth look is "Snowflake" over OPI's "Do You Lilac Me" and OPI's "Black Onyx" topped with glitters from "Speckled Lily." I used a toothpick to place the hex glitters over the black.

GG Couture Nail Lacquer has many other beautiful polishes you can purchase. Click here for a previous post on other nail lacquers from GG Couture!

I'm sick with pneumonia but that won't stop me from doing my nails.

I received nail polish from a line called "Tammy Taylor" and I am really impressed.

The formula for these polishes is amazing. It's opaque in two coats and dries SO fast. It also has a glossy finish and the top coat "ZCoat" leaves a glossier finish than Seche Vite.

Products Used:

For this gradient looked I used "Genie In A Bottle", a dark pink for the base color. Once it dried I added "Little Black Dress" with a makeup sponge for the gradient effect. I used "Little Black Dress" on my thumb and ring finger topped with "Dazzle Me Up." Once it was dry I topped it with "Z Coat."

Grab these and other beautiful polishes at Tammy Taylor!

Here's another amazing beauty from the new OPI Gwen Stefani Collection.

This is "Over & Over A-Gwen," a perfect red. I don't wear reds too often but I actually really like this polish.

This polish comes in a box that has a picture of Gwen, the paintbrush holder has Gwen's signature all over it, and it also includes Swarovski elements with rhinestones, studs, bars, and glue to place the studs. It also brings a cute little handbook to give you some nailspiration.

Make sure to use my code "MODNAILS" for 10% at HB Beauty Bar where the Gwen Stefani OPI collection is now available!

I don't think I've ever been this excited about a collection. OPI's Gwen Stefani collection is now out and available at HB Beauty Bar! Don't forget to use my code "MODNAILS" for 10% off!

I'm literally playing "Simple Kind of Love" right now. I remember I went to the No Doubt / Blink 182 concert in '05 in San Diego and had the time of my life. I lovvvve Gwen.

Here is some nail art using:

Pictured below is "Push and Shove," a silver chrome. This is a new OPI formula and the first of its kind. It's a chrome finish that needs a special base called "Lay Down That Base" which comes with it when you purchase it! It is a little streaky but it looks way better in person than in the picture. You apply a thin coat of the base and once it's dry you apply two thin coats of "Push and Shove." I love the finish. I was hoping it looked more like a mirror effect but it's pretty cool regardless. This one doesn't need a top coat!
I'll be posting more swatches from the collection throughout the week! I'm celebrating my birthday with friends and wearing the pink/black look tonight so I don't want to take them off just yet!

Happy New Year!!!
